As the Memorial Tournament presented by Workday recognized its 50th
playing, and 2025 Honoree Barbara Nicklaus, the Tournament continued
to expand its reach and impact in support of advances in pediatric care,
community health, and research throughout the areas of most need at
Nationwide Children’s Hospital, including the Memorial Tournament
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Several fundraising efforts throughout
the year, including staple events like the Legends Luncheon presented
by Nationwide, which raised $1.45 million, contribute a significant
impact on the Columbus, Ohio, area and well beyond.
With Workday in its fourth year as the presenting sponsor of the
Memorial Tournament, 2025 also marked the continued collaborative
partnership with Stephen and Ayesha Curry’s Eat. Learn. Play.
Foundation, alongside Nationwide Children’s Hospital and Nicklaus
Children’s Health Care Foundation. A portion of the proceeds from
this year’s Tournament will support programs and services central
to Eat. Learn. Play.’s core mission, both through the alignment with
Nationwide Children’s in Columbus, Ohio, and within the community
of Oakland, California. That shared mission focus of Eat. Learn. Play.
and Nationwide Children’s Hospital includes fighting to end childhood
hunger by providing access to nutritious meals, improving literacy
through quality reading resources and support, and providing safe
places for all children to play and be safe.
