b'A letter fromJack and Barbara What a year of fun and blessings this has been! Our event calendar was full of wonderful gatherings that truly made a tremendous impact on the many children and families that will benefit. We celebrated a few milestones, making new memories such as the 10th anniversary celebration of the Nicklaus Childrens Palm Beach Gardens Outpatient Center, which was one of our first projects with the hospital. We remember with pride the groundbreaking and grand openingbringing much-needed services to our community. We are also so proud of the partnership our Foundation was able to help establish between Nicklaus Childrens Hospital and Jupiter Medical Center to expand hospital-based pediatric services. We are thankful that Lola Sophia had the benefit of the De George Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit when her little life truly depended upon the critical care she was able to receive. You will read her story in the pages to come, but she is just one of many children whose life was saved by one of our angel doctors. Having the right care, in the right place, at the right timecan make all the difference in the world. We understand how important it is to support local childrens hospitals and that is the motivation behind the Childrens Miracle Network Hospitals Play Yellow initiative taking place across the country. Today, there are Play Yellow events in 25 states, which has realized $130 million in funds raised through the game of golf in the past five years. Those dollars remained in the community where they were raised, making a huge impact on childrens health. Wow! Our goal is to continue to work side by side with Childrens Miracle Network Hospitals and thePGA TOUR to expand the reach to support as many precious lives as possible. There is also a growing need for funds to be able to treat and care for children who do not have the ability to pay for the services. That is where our Childrens Legacy Fund steps in to help. Jutelson was just one of the many patients that benefited from the Fundproviding him with his happily ever after. His orphanage in Haiti was able to bring him to Nationwide Childrens Hospital to receive the care that he needed. This was lifesaving surgery that would not have been possible otherwise. To see his little face in the photographs we received, and to read the letter from his caregiver thanking us for saving his lifethat is what it is all about!Thank you to our Major Champions, our Golden Cub Ambassadors, our donors, our friends, our families, and our partners. Your generosity means the world to us!With love and gratitude,Jack and Barbara NicklausCover: Jack and Barbara Nicklaus at Nicklaus Childrens Hospital in Miami, Florida'
