Shinning a Light: Golden Cub Ambassadors Club

TA Walker, of WPTV News Channel 5 and WFLX Fox 29,  sits down with Barbara Nicklaus and her granddaughter, Christie, to shine a light on the Golden Cub Ambassadors Club. 

Co-Chaired by Christie and her husband, Todger Strunk, the groups mission is to further the legacy of the Nicklaus Children’s Health Care Foundation by providing annual support of programs and projects focused on the health and well-being of children and families.

Friends of the foundation, ages 21 – 45, are invited to join and 100% of the funds raised are distributed annually to pediatric programs or projects as voted on by the membership. The group closed out 2022 with close to 100 members and granted out over $137,000  to assist with: programs at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital and Jupiter Medical Center, a clinic in Liberia for Miracle Feet, and support for HaitiChildren and the Oliver Patch. 

Members are a diverse group of professionals, many newly married or new parents, but more importantly, they all have come together for pediatric health care and to start their journey of becoming the next generation of philanthropist.  To learn how you can join the Golden Cub Ambassadors Club, visit here or call 561.630.0025.
